So close to the pool you can nearly touch it but far enough away you don't hear everyone having a great time. The beach is just minutes away in a car or a brisk walk for about 8 minutes. It is directly across the street from complex just the access point is a little further. Golf car friendly community. Beautiful custom kitchen fully stocked for all those meals and anything else you want to try cooking while your here. Try a local favorite! Why not; you’re on vacation right! The master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed which has its own en-suite nice large shower. Yes, get some candles and bath bombs to relax in the main bath room with its deep tub while the kids play in the amazing bunk room with two full size beds at the bottom and 2 twins up top. Lots of seating for everyone on the couch and kitchen table so bring the extended family, they can all fit here comfortably without the outrages prices. The kids can adventure outside and look for those little crabs running all over the neighborhood but watch out for those bunnies weaving in and out of everywhere… they are super fast so good luck catching them. The zero depth pool is just at the end of street on the slight bend, if you have little ones this is just perfect . Close to both pools. Close to the Beach. Parking is marked for you . This home got one of the best spots… but shhhh; don’t tell anyone! Our goal is for you to leave here knowing this was the best time of your life! It’s also a great spot during the Winter Season and the Bodenheimer offers $10 a day daily pass to heated indoor pool, classes and all facilities. You have two parking spots available. Parking passes will be on the counter when you arrive. Parking is monitored for your convenience so please put passes on vehicle immediately so you do not get fined. Let us know in advance if you need a third spot. Advance notice is very important so we can receive board approval and identify the nearest spot. please park in assigned spots you are the 3rd and 4th spot over from the left. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby Mobile and neighboring main resort areas of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Yet these areas are only a short drive or ferry ride away. With its coastal location combined with breezes off Mobile Bay, year-round average daily temperatures here are perfect for outdoor activities. The area is home to a protected wildlife refuge that features gorgeous sand dunes, coastal marshes, and beaches – not to mention the amazing fishing! And don’t forget about incredible birdlife! For educational experiences, the area has a rich history full of adventure. From historical military forts built during the civil war to serene natural parks that are home to rare plant species found no where else in the world, there is always something new to discover Home to a big masonry fort which offers a tour and educational opportunities. This is a prime location for a hands-on history lesson. This military memorial commemorates important battles during the Civil War. Be sure to spend some time exploring the on-site museum with interesting exhibits about the history of the area as well as the site tours Explore the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail – This unique trail is home to many bird species which migrate to the area, making it a great place for birdwatching and photography. You’ll find the trail markers on highway 180. Take a dolphin cruise throughout Bon Secour Bay – During the summer months, dolphin are extremely active in the area providing great opportunities for sightings. Rent a boat and go tubing, boating or fishing – If you want to go fishing further offshore, consider charter a boat out of Orange Beach and fish for snapper, mahi, and/or grouper. Get all the information you need from permits to charters here. Visit the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and Interpretive Center – There are over 7000 acres and four designated hiking trails to explore here as well as an interpretive center. The Pine Beach Trail is one of my family’s favorite hikes as it end in a secluded stretch of beach. While there stop by the interpretive center to learn about the flora & fauna native to the area, including alligators and other interesting creatures. Go kayaking – There are countless areas to launch your kayak and explore local waterways. One of our favorite areas to put in at at Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. Be sure to pick up a trail map when you visit the center so you know where to go. Enjoy a round of golf – Kiva Dunes is ranked one of the top public golf courses in Alabama per Golf Digest and Golf Advisor. Take the Mobile Bay Ferry to Dauphin Island – This ferry runs daily from early morning to afternoon. It’s a beautiful ride across Mobile Bay and provides great views of Fort Morgan. The Dauphin Island ferry dock is located conveniently close to wonderful attractions like Fort Gaines and the Estuarium. Visit Fort Gaines – While you are on Dauphin Island, visit this historic fort which paid a significant role during the Civil war. It’s open for self-guided tours of the grounds, several buildings, and the cannons. Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Estuarium – This is a great place for an educational experience. With over 19 miles of trails, you will learn about the coastal habitats and wildlife that call this area home. You can also visit their on-site sea turtle rehabilitation center and research library. For a deeper education experience, book a marine educator-led aquarium tour with your kids. Karaoke and Dinner at Tacky Jacks – Tacky Jack’s, located next to Fort Morgan Marina, is a fun place for family-friendly entertainment and waterfront dining. A local favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with live karaoke on Thursday and Saturday nights. Visit the Gulf State Park – This large state park in Gulf Shores offers trails, a beach, fishing pier, and more! You can read more about my experience on the Backcountry Trail here. The beach here is one of the best beaches in Alabama. Be sure to stop by the lodge for a drink while you’re there – the sunset views from this hotel are absolutely gorgeous. Visit Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve – Located in Fairhope, Weeks Bay has plenty of opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing here. A walk through the reserve’s wetlands and marsh along the well-maintained paths is highly recommended. Visit the Coastal Art Center of Orange Beach – A beautiful art museum displaying area artists is a great stop is not far away from the beach. Check the class schedule for art classes, as well events in the glass blowing and clay studios. Visit Mobile Alabama – This historic city is full of history dating back to the Civil War era. There are plenty of things to do in Mobile during your visit including visiting some great museums and restaurants. If you want to see the third of the area’s historic forts, visit Colonial Fort Conde which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Available all year. Almost 24 hours a day. You will need to go shopping for your essentials, but we have supplied some things for a few days to keep you going. As you enter the Rookery 3 Community, you are greeted with a little sailboat and colorful cottages throughout the community. You will be surrounded by Bon Secour National wildlife reserve. Palm trees outside home. A pool is to the right just as you enter and pass the security stand. This cottage will be over the bridge and turn left and it will be located on the right. A community house and second pool is very close, the pool is behind this house which is the more family friendly pool. Bring floats and chairs if all the seating is gone at the pool but it's highly unlikely unless there is a family reunion going on. Parking is available at the second pool or it's just a short walk from the cottage. At night you just may hear the frogs sing to you or maybe if you're lucky a baby alligator. Renting golf carts is very common here . Island Cart Rentals or Coastal Cart Rentals are very popular cart rentals. A lot of people like to bike ride, bring your own, or Fort Morgan Beach Rentals has them and they also offer chairs, tents, kayaks etc. It is about a 10 min walk to the beach, even though it’s directly across the street, it’s just the way the access points are to get there. There is a public car park and you can also park along Cortez Street . Bring your skate-boards bring your scooters the streets by the beach are nice and smooth. Gulf State park is popular for a bike ride. Bike rental is available there

Extras fees will be assessed if house is a noted as excessive cleaning needed. Cleaning Fee is only to get house Ready for next Guest and Laundry/ if the house is left in good condition guests can arrive early like you were probably offered if the house was left clean. So Please be considerate to each other so everyone can come a few hours early . I am trying to help everyone.

In the event that damage to the property or its contents is not covered by our insurance or it exceeds the security deposit, the cost to repair or replace will be billed to the guests.
Visitors and Guests
Please limit the number of guests during the day to a maximum of 2.
Only guests listed on the pre-arrival form are permitted to stay overnight.
Any extra overnight visitors will have to pay an extra fee of $100 per night.
The number of total guests cannot exceed the maximum number of guests allowed on the property.
All guests and visitors are the responsibility of the primary booking guest and must comply with all house rules.
